NCSC
In KVS, NCSC is implemented in three phases, i.e., School level, Regional level and National level. At Regional level, 300-400 Child Scientists from various Kendriya Vidyalayas present their projects. About 450 outstanding innovative projects are further selected from 25 Regions to participate in the KVS National Level. KVS, a state with 42 exemplary projects, participates in the National Level NCSC in which 28 States, 8 Union territories and 9 Gulf countries participate.
KVS selects 42 exemplary and promising projects out of 449 creative and innovative projects from 25 regions, including three CSWN category projects, for further participation at the National Level NCSC.
INSPIRE Award
The Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research’ (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE Awards, MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), is executed by DST with the National Innovation Foundation of India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST. It aims to motivate students in the age group of 10-15 years studying in classes 6 to 10.
